Nagi Noda's Animal Wigs

Nowadays, hair extensions are becoming the hottest fashion accessory in Hollywood and for fashionable women. More and more women especially celebrities are making hair extensions part of their beauty routine because they are easy to wear and maintain. During the past years, the extensions had to be glued or weaved into the hair by a professional that sometimes it can damage women's natural hair. However, today extensions can just be clipped into place with a few simple steps and can add natural body or length to hair.

Also topping the list for a trendy celebrity fashion accessory are wigs. Britney Spears has unveiled a string of contemporary wigs together with other celebrities such Beyoncé, Gwen Stefani, Li'l Kim, and Tyra Banks.

If you want to wear fake hair but dare to be different, try Nagi Noda's creations. The Japanese Art Director's collection includes synthetic hair hats that represents dogs, owls, lions, and other animals.

V Magazine's V53 editorial entitled In Your Dreams proves that no matter what's going on in the world, fashion somehow always swings back to the extremes.

The magazine features the maximalism trend that includes big hair, big money and big dresses. The photo shoot for the said editorial was done by Argentine photographer Sebastian Faena at Miami's Vizcaya (the palatial Coconut Grove villa built to look like a 16th-century Renaissance mansion). Jessica Stam, Lily Donaldson, and Doutzen Kroes successfully produced a photo gallery that is pure, unadulterated, vibrant and glamorous.

Claudia Escobar's Salmon-Skin Bikini

We all know that Salmon is a good food but who would have thought that its scaly skin can be of great use in the fashion world? Well, one person definitely thought of it, Claudia Escobar introduced her salmon-skin bikini in Time Magazine's Coolest Inventions of 2003.

Chilean fashion designer observed that masses of salmon skin discarded worldwide every year and she managed to use it into a line of luxury swimsuit.

The sexy swimsuits are cut from a tanned, dyed salmon skin material. The soft, smooth and lightweight "sea leather" has a natural elasticity that won't sag after a dip. The suits are part of a full line of fish-leather apparel (including jackets, skirts and sandals) introduced by a London company, Skini.

Oscar De La Renta Cruise 2009 Collection

The Cruise 2009 Collection of Oscar de la Renta is composed of 66 sophisticated wardrobe and was presented with elegance and style in a serene setting of cherry blossoms on white washed trees.

The collection include a number of stunning lace and silk dresses, crisp separates and grownup trousers with kaleidoscope of colors of corals, blues, pinks, yellows, emeralds and corals. At first glance, I thought I am viewing a Christmas collection. Everyone was surprised to see the mix of equestrian hats or the riding hats with a couple of the looks. The climax of the runway show was de la Renta's exhibition of voluminous gowns that quite literally had a five foot radius.

2008 Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet Fashion

The 2008 Cannes Film Festival was unsurprisingly studded with celebrities and models that walked along the red carpet with their designer's gowns.

Eva Longoria looked stunning in her turquoise Versace Haute Couture gown. Mischa Barton sported her glamorous look with her navy blue Alberta Ferretti gown. Cate Blanchett was also present to promote "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” She looked amazing in a nude Armani Prive ruffled dress.

One of my favorite colors, purple, appeared to be the color trend of the occasion. Natalie Portman chose a dark purple Lanvin dress and supermodel Bar Rafaeli chose a classic light purple gown.
