HDIL India Couture Week 2010 - Varun Bahl and Karan Johar

Victorian influences and the colonial looks of the Raj seem to be the running theme in Varun Bahl and Karan Johar's collection. My only gripe is the chamka dhamka embroidery on velvet, especially the red; which I find garish and over the top. Otherwise, great tailoring and interesting details, accessories included pocket chain watch on jackets, handkerchiefs and briefcases, props to Varun Bahl for not making the collection look costumey.
