Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week - Day 2: Kavita Bhartia Spring Summer 2011

As an entrepreneur I really admire Kavita Bhartia, a successful business women in the rag trade who has been 'exporting India' to the world and running her store Ogaan in Mumbai and Delhi, Kavita Bhartia has a lot on her plate. But as a designer, there's a lot left to be desired. Rarely veering from her trademark colourful and kitschy, bohemian, gypsy offering, which instead of perfecting by now, she ends up killing with an overdose of jazzy accessories and embellishments. Her vibrant and colourful collection though nice falls short on finesse and innovation.

On a side note, you don't have to bathe your self in colours and crafts just to appear like a tacky peacock.
